Story
The Egger Group, with its head office in Austria, is one of the international leaders in the manufacture of wood-based materials. Founded in 1961, the family-based company now has 22 production plants with approx. 11,000 worldwide employees. Global customers include those in the furniture industry, wood distribution, building markets and the DIY business.
The campaign had to work for a wide range of audiences, not just in terms of headline segments but also reflecting cultural variations within the segments depending on geographical location.
Central to the campaign was the brand idea we developed, which captured the benefit to all of its customers around the world. This underpinned the messaging and visual treatment we created to develop a coherent global campaign with customers at its heart. The new brand imagery also elevated Egger’s status as a premium brand.
The campaign was brought to life through a series of campaign films and photography which we storyboarded, directed and managed at multiple, international shoot locations, alongside top brand photographer Michael Heffernan. The films were translated in to over 15 different languages for local markets and the campaign creative and photography applied across digital display, native social, print, outdoor, major industry events and onsite at Egger locations around the world.
Responses to the campaign at every level were incredibly positive as well as instrumental in ensuring business performance was maintained throughout the pandemic. The ongoing relationship we have with Egger is reflective not only of the strength of work we have delivered but also our approach and working relationships that we have built with a large, multi-faceted global organisation with many different priorities and focus areas.
