Story

Rooted in heritage but relevant to a new generation. Dicksons strong family values, care and generosity they put into creating tasty, hearty food for people of the North East influenced our brand development.

Ahoy Saveloy!

Pioneer of the famous saveloy dip, Dicksons has been providing generous portions of hearty, home-cooked food to hungry customers for more than seven decades.

We worked with this much-loved family business to develop a refreshed brand identity and proposition to support its ambitious growth plans.

We collaborated with the Dicksons team to articulate the company’s brand values, bringing them to life through eye-catching photography and video and, with support from our friends at Lumsden Design, embedding them into Dicksons’ physical and digital worlds.

Creating a vibrant logo and colour palette, we ensured that the refreshed brand reflected Dicksons’ rich heritage while capturing the company’s exciting future direction. Lumsden Design then brought these concepts to life in Dicksons’ stores and supermarket concessions, creating a bold new look to maintain the company’s appeal and engagement with customers.

The brand refresh coincided with the launch of a new Northumberland store concept which set a benchmark for a cohesive and contemporary design across all of Dicksons’ outlets.
