Working with the communications team, we create ongoing content for news and social channels and on and off line media platforms, establishing Balance as the ‘go to’ voice for media.

Working as part of a multi-agency team we have delivered the PR, media and social content for annual health harm campaigns including Alcohol is Toxic, Alcohol Causes Cancer and What’s the Harm.

Through our press, public relations work, social media creation and media relations, these campaigns have secured coverage as leading stories on national television, radio stations and top-tier news outlets such as The Mirror and ITV Tyne Tees.

A nationwide issue, we have worked with Balance to campaign for reducing alcohol harm in its role with the national Alcohol Health Alliance (AHA UK). This included the launch of the 2024 Blueprint to Reduce Alcohol Harm, which sets out the scale of alcohol-related harms across the North East and vision for change. We helped create news and social media content with members of the public and Directors of Public Health and has secured local and national coverage and widespread engagement.

We’ve also worked with our client Fresh on another health engagement project.
